DECEMBER 2015 — Medicine for the Greater Good serves as the CIM’s community outreach program. The core mission of MGG is to help patients inside and outside of the hospital walls. MGG holds a recurring series of events called the Caregiver Cafes, which welcomes family members and friends who assist their loved ones with health issues come together and talk about their experiences. NOVEMBER 2015 – As the Center for Innovative Medicine, we seek to make medicine a better public trust by helping our patients as well as the community around us. In line with those goals, we are also committed to medical education, and helping our residents become excellent doctors. We were thrilled to hear that the Bayview Residency Program, which works closely with the CIM, was featured in the New England Journal of Medicine for their article on Graduate Medical Education in the Freddie Gray Era.
