Our Mission

Our mission is to treat and cure Primary Immunodeficiency in adults. Primary Immunodeficiency is much more common than people once thought, and frequently leads to chronic suffering, disability, and death. Recognition and diagnosis at an early stage are essential in order to reduce the burden of illness, long-term complications and disability. There are very few centers across the country dedicated to adult Primary Immunodeficiency. Hopkins’ goal is to establish and foster a center of excellence that specialized in comprehensive medical care. It will serve as a national and international hub for diagnosis, treatment, research and education.

Our Areas of Focus

  • Early recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with Primary Immunodeficiency
  • Comprehensive multi-disciplinary care for patients with complex immune disorders
  • Reduction of the irreversible complications and organ damage caused by weak immunity
